The Adega Regional restaurant is a typical Alentejo restaurant and is located in the heart of the historic city of Elvas, decorated with the award by UNESCO, with world heritage.
As its name implies, the restaurant tries to portray a typical Alentejo wine cellar, where you can enjoy a comfortable, warm and typical decoration under 17th century vaulted ceilings.
In the kitchen, the typical Alentejo flavors are recreated, but looking to innovate with new dishes keeping the ingredients from the Alentejo.
The dishes adapt to the seasons in search of freshness, flavors and authenticity of the raw material that characterizes each time of the year, taking advantage of the richness of different climates and Alentejo products.
Also on offer, we have the traditional conventual sweets and the famous cericaia with plums from Elvas.
The wine cellar focuses on Alentejo wines, with a small offer of what Portugal, in each region, can offer us, where our wine list won the Honorable Mention in the category Best Quality / Price Ratio in the National Wine List Competition. Wines 2015.
In an attempt to publicize the Alentejo wine region, we thank you for your visit, and we hope that the offer meets and exceeds your expectations.
